Welcome to Rong Liu's Lab of Protein Bioinformatics at Huazhong Agriculture University!
Our lab is focusing on the protein-centered computational study. We not only develop protein-related algorithms in bioinformatics and computational biology but also conduct computational analyses driven by clear and interesting biological problems. The major research topics of our lab in recent years include as follows:
1) Development of protein function prediction algorithm based on structural information.
2) Structural study on the interaction specificity between proteins and other molecules (e.g., proteins, nucleic acids, and small molecules).
3) Systems biology study on the interplay between pathogens and human with multi-omics data.
